Our kids love to bowl. In case you are not aware there is a fantastic summer program where kids can bowl free all summer. We took advantage of the program a couple of times and all we paid for was shoe rentals. Chase (5) really gets into bowling and throws the ball with his whole body. The last time Chase bowled there was a boy a similar age one lane over. Chase being the friendly guy he is started talking with this boy. A few minutes into the conversation Chase became really excited and pointing down to the ground said "look, we have the same shoes!!!"

Darcy, the Dentist and Permanent Molars
Darcy, the Dentist and Permanent Molars
Darcy,(6 years old), went to the dentist as it was recommended that once her permanent molars come in they should have sealants applied. Audrey (mommy) and Darcy were surprised when the dentist who came in to performed the procedure was not the regular dentist but a much younger dentist, our dentist's son, who had recently completed his training. Darcy was a champ and he procedure went great. After the procedure, Audrey saw an opportunity to set her friend up with this young dentist and talked with him if he was willing to be set up on a date - and he agreed to give it a try. Darcy not knowing what was happening ask her mom what's up. Audrey replied,"Mommy wants to set the dentist up with our friend". Darcy was still a little confused asked," So he can check her permanent molars?"

Optimist or Pessimist?
Is The Glass half full?
Our family went to a great park and were playing happily. Avery, now 3 years old, told her Mom, Audrey, "I have to go to the bathroom". The only option was the parking lot porta-potty. Reluctantly, Audrey took Avery to the bathroom. Unfortunately, the generally well-kept porta-potty was especially stinky. While in the stall, Avery looked at Audrey and said, "It is going to smell really yummy when we get out of here".
