Darcy ( 4 years old, as are the two other triplets, Bryce and Cooper) Avery just turned 2, and Chase is just under 3 weeks old).
Dress Code:
Darcy was walking down the stairs and stopped and sat down. I looked up and asked, "Darcy are you wearing underwear? We have to wear underwear in a restaurant."
Darcy responded, "My underwear was making me hot."
Household Chores:
We were cleaning around the house and brought out the "big" vacuum which Bryce started to use happily. Darcy inquired, "What am I going to use?" I told her that I was going to get the small handheld vacuum for her and giddily she said, "This is going to be ssoooooo exciting."
Before bedtime Darcy asks to color. Because it was already late, we negotiated that Darcy could color one drawing and she also had to share that coloring page with her siblings, including her two year old sister Avery. She immediately went to Avery and in a stern 4 year old authoritarian voice said, "Avery, no scribble-scrabble, color nicely inside the lines."
Cooper
We still have trouble getting food into Cooper. He is a slow eater, does not eat a lot and hoards food in his mouth, (rather than swallow it). Tonight when feeding Cooper Audrey encouragingly asks Cooper to take the last bite of food. Cooper, without missing a beat answers, "No more last biteS!!!"
