Dental Hygiene

1/30/2012

Dental Hygiene

Audrey, my wife, is particular about dental hygiene and the kids must have picked up this gene as they all love caring for their teeth.

They love brushing their teeth.  They also love to floss, or taste, the mint on the dental floss.  They have their own  "kid" toothpaste, but like to try "adult" toothpaste as well.  After brushing, they always ask, "Do you want to smell my minty?" and then proceed to blow in your face.

2012 01 More Funny Sayings

2012 01  More Funny Sayings

Our triplets are now 3 years 7 months and started school this week.  The rate of funny things they say has accelerated faster than I can document.  Also, they have become somewhat more reluctant to perform on video to capture these sayings.

It is a recent development that they want to be " the leader".  Rather than say, " Follow me", they say, "Follow TO me"

They are amazed when they see a convertible car.  They do not yet know the term "a convertible", but rather describe the car as, " that car has no sunroof".

The rule in our home is when it is dark out, it is bedtime, and when it is light out you can get out of bed in the morning, (Good thing we do not live in the arctic).  When Cooper walks into our room in the morning and he is ready for the day to begin, he explains to us, " The sun came up".

One night Cooper came into our room at 2:08 AM.  He was crawling into our bed over Audrey but she was going to have none of it and used this as a teaching lesson.  She showed Cooper her digital clock radio and pointed to the "2" and said, "Cooper, this is a two, when it says "7" you can come back into our bed".   Cooper looked at her, and looked back at the clock, pointed to clock, and said, "and this is a zero", to make his own teaching point and continued to climb into bed over Audrey.
