2008/08/22 Five Minute Triplets

I forget which font I chose for the other entries. Anyway, time is up and we have to feed.

Yesterday, while entering my office at work one of the people who works in my area but I do not know well followed me into my office and then asked if she could see photos of the triplets. I was a little shocked, but I was happy to show them off. I later realized how weird it was to be asked by a semi-random person to see photos.

Photos to come soon,

2008/08/21 Five Minute Blog NOT a still Life

Well, this morning in the shower I thought it was time to capture our lives and decided I would create a daily 5 minute blog. We will see how this goes. Hopefully, this will capture some of our our life's events. Capturing is fun, but I always like reading what I created when I look back some time in the future.

Audrey, my wife, and I have triplets. I am hopefully going to be dedicated to capture our lives here in this blog.

As a side, I am not sure what a blog is supposed to be but, mine will be a journal.

I had book club earlier this week and we read a book, "The mystery Guest" and I thought the book, which was a verbal discussion inside the narrator's head of his relationship with a past girlfriend, who left him suddenly. Anyway, when I was reading the book I thought the book would make an excellent blog/journal. As an aside, despite the book's short length most people did not read the book and those who read it did not like it. I was a minority.

Yes, I am in a book club. It is an all guys book club and we do read the books we choose at least we try and read them. Pretty much the gayest thing I do.

Though I called this the 5 minute blog it has taken more than 5 minutes.

So we have three kids born a minute apart 5/12/2008 Darcy, Bryce and Cooper. Last night was an aberation but hopefully an omen of things to come as the kdis slept most of the night expect for a while when Audrey tried to feed them at 1 am but they all pretty much refused. Though they are less than 10 pounds, a magic weight we are told when babies are supposed to be able to sleep through the night, (which means post 12 AM feed to 6 AM), our sub-10 pounders almost slept from a post 9 PM feed to 6 AM. We will see what happens tonight.

I plan to add photos to each blog. But this is a new computer and I transfered all my photos off the last laptop and will have to load this one up... I was supposed to have a data management system with Drobo but I am running in to issues with the company from which I ordered the machine. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Audrey is watching the Olymics with Sarah on our "new" DTV pal digital to analogue converter. We do not have cable which should help me read more.

Looking to be funnier in the future

"To be loved, make yourself loveable" ( yesterday's fortune cookie- today's was something about a good business trip coming up, though I do not really take any of those).

PS I know I had a spell check activated in Firefox on my last computer, I will have to check on it in the future. It is time to feed.
